Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is optimistic that Joe Rodon will be available for the match against Leicester City despite a minor hamstring issue. Farke also revealed that Crysencio Summerville and Sam Byram reported small complaints but expects all three players to be fit for the game against the league leaders.
Daniel Farke is quietly confident that he will be able to call on Joe Rodon on Friday night when Leeds United take on Leicester City. Rodon pulled up in the second half of Leeds’ convincing win over Huddersfield Town and left the field gingerly, to be replaced by Liam Cooper.
The manager has clarified that Rodon was withdrawn from the contest against the Terriers after flagging a minor hamstring issue, while Farke has also admitted that both Crysencio Summerville and Sam Byram reported small complaints, too. However, he doesn’t expect to be without any of them when Leeds take on the league leaders, who remain 14 points clear of third placed Leeds after their win over QPR on Saturday.
“Cry and Sam were reporting some minor muscle problems at half-time,” Farke revealed after watching his side beat Huddersfield 4-1. “We didn't want to take any risks, so we had to sub them off.
