Leeds United return to Championship action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Norwich City at Carrow Road
Daniel Farke will be happy to have his Leeds United squad back together as preparations are dialled up for Saturday’s clash against Norwich City. Farke has been without 11 first-teamers due to international commitments during the break, but they should all have returned by now with the trip to Carrow Road looming large.
Gray played 270 minutes across the three games, splitting his time between midfield and full-back, and that makes him something of a doubt going into what promises to be an intense contest against the Canaries. Farke has spoken consistently about the need to manage the teenager’s workload, given his age, and he’ll think long and hard before throwing Gray, who has been one of Leeds’ most used players this season, into yet another game.
Ilia Gruev hasn’t been considered for a starting spot just yet and that seems unlikely to change this weekend, unless an injury has been picked up that is.It’s clear that both Georginio Rutter and Joel Piroe will keep their respective positions in the side, with Piroe playing slightly behind the sparkling Frenchman through the middle for the Whites. The biggest decisions come on the edges, then, with Farke having to disappoint one of Dan James, Crysencio Summerville and Jaidon Anthony.
