Danniella Westbrook has been left heartbroken by the death of her beloved bulldog Bruno, who died while being looked after by one of her friends.
The star, who played Sam Mitchell on EastEnders, had rescued Bruno when he was 12, sharing a photo on Instagram and writing: ‘My new baby … meet 12 year old Bruno his the latest [addition] to my family.
‘I rescued him from the amazing charity @bulldog_rescue_and_rehoming_uk his 12 years old and I adore him ❤️ [if] your thinking of getting a dog please rescue ❤️ [sic].’Danniella said she was at a work event at the time The actress said that her boyfriend, named David, popped the question in prison during a visit, according toThe 48-year-old said that, although she has got a ‘big ring’, David didn’t think it was ‘big enough’.
‘I’ve got a big ring that was made for me, and I wore it into the jail and David said “it was lovely but it’s not big enough” so there is a bigger one coming,’ the soap star told the publication.
