Authorities say the shooting took place at the Audubon Park Apartments on County Road 64.

Upon arrival, police said they discovered a 40-year-old white male deceased in an apartment and a second white male nearby with a gunshot wound.The suspects have been identified as a white male and white female who allegedly fled in a dark colored SUV before officers arrived, according to police. The shooting is believed to have happened after a dispute between the male suspect and the deceased victim who were acquainted, but not residents at the apartment.The cause of the dispute is unclear and police are continuing to investigate.Copyright 2024 WALA.
