Highly-anticipated sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is currently in cinemas and has proven a hit with fans, but there's one actor from the original 1988 film who didn't return
The long-awaited sequel to Tim Burton's 1988 classic, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, has finally hit the cinemas and instantly captured the hearts of moviegoers.
Yet, Jeffrey Jones who played Lydia's father Charles Deetz in the first Beetlejuice film, was noticeably absent from the new instalment and has remained silent on his non-involvement. Reflecting on the court ruling at the time, Jones had remarked: "This concludes a really painful chapter in my life. I am sorry that this incident was allowed to occur. Such an event has never happened before and it will never happen again," reports the Mirror.
Despite this, Jones has continued to act, featuring in titles like Deadwood: The Movie in 2019 and My Brothers' Crossing in 2020.
