A video of the 64-year-old Hall of Famer showing off his trademark agility went viral over the weekend — shocking fans who thought “the Ageless Wonder” might have slowed down.
The video shows the Washington legend backpedaling into the secondary and jumping in front of routes during on-field drills. Some social media users said they expected the seven-time Pro Bowler to look more like your typical retiree after 20 seasons in the NFL.“This is amazing,” Tyreek Hill, a speedy wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, wrote on X. “Hope I’m moving like this at 64.”
The long-time cornerback made headlines last month when the Washington Commanders announced plans to retire his No. 28 jersey. The organization surprised the two-time Super Bowl champion when he visited their facility before the NFL draft. “I’m humbly grateful,” Green told the Commanders’ website. “I would’ve never dreamed this. … It’s almost like it breathed life into me. I have never been so surprised, shocked. My head is still spinning, but I am a million percent humbled.”
