Darren Till revealed that John Fury, father of Tommy Fury, demanded a public apology from him following a heated promotional event. The dispute arose after Till threatened to use MMA tactics, like kicking, if he was losing the fight against Tommy Fury.
Darren Till claims John Fury recently called his team demanding a public apology following the fallout of his son's doomed fight.As a result, Anthony Taylor stepped in to replace Fury and was subsequently knocked out by Till in the sixth round.But the former Love Island star's dad won't let that happen until Till admits he was in the wrong for threatening to bend the rules.
"So I will say I am sorry little John... Sorry that you’ve got a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp."It was all very cordial at first but the promotional event quickly erupted into chaos when Till affirmed he would boot Fury in the head if he started to lose the fight.I started off as a football hooligan - now I am Lennox Lewis' boxing protege“At the end of the day, If I can’t beat you, I’ll just kick you in the face in there,” Till said.
“How about that? I’m a proper fighter, not a boxer. I don’t walk in a room like this and see boxing and go, ‘s***.’"I walk in, no one here is a threat to me. Not one person in this room, security, you, your dad are not a threat to me.fighter, so if I want to kick you or elbow you in the face, I will, and no one can do anything about it.”
Moments later, Fury Sr picked up a bottle of water and began squirting it at Till, which triggered a scuffle between both men's entourages."For the one simple reason being that Darren has stated over and over that he does not want to abide by professional boxing rules and that if he is losing the fight he will resort to kicking and other stupid MMA tactics.
