Teenage darts sensation Luke Littler has been sampling a taste of Belfast ahead of his appearance at the SSE Arena on Thursday night.Littler popped down to Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter and dined at Top Blade Steakhouse alongside his father. He also had his photo taken with the restaurant's manager Gavin Kirk and a young fan.
Top Blade said on social media: “What an absolute pleasure having DARTS BIGGEST STAR in with us tonight. We had some laugh. What an amazing young man with the biggest future ahead. “Onwards and upwards the sky’s the limit for him. Looking forward to watching you live tomorrow evening.” Littler takes on Luke Humphries in the quarter-finals on Thursday night, a repeat of their enthralling World Championship final back in January.
The 17-year-old - who recently admitted he had ditched a diet of kebabs and fast food for healthier options - blasted onto the global darts scene with his stunning performance at the Worlds, and now he is looking to make his mark in the Premier League.Other quarter-finals include Michael Smith vs Michael Van Gerwen, Nathan Aspinall vs Gerwyn Price and Rob Cross vs Peter Wright.
