Police said his victim showed 'incredible bravery and strength' by reporting his crime
A rapist who bit and strangled a woman while he raped her in Blackburn has been jailed. Police said the victim was “understandably terrified" of Lee Barr but showed "incredible bravery and strength" by reporting his crime.
Barr, now of no fixed address but previously of Tythebarn Street, Darwen, was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life. He was remanded back into custody to be sentenced at the same court on August 16.READ MORE: Five cheap Lancashire homes for sale right now for less than £50k
