Moments you may not have spotted during Liverpool's Premier League clash with Everton on Wednesday
Liverpool saw their Premier League title challenge all but extinguished with a dreadful defeat at Everton on Wednesday.
Indeed, Virgil van Dijk, Alexis Mac Allister and Luis Diaz all went into the book for dissent as referee Andy Madley awarded Everton a succession of occasionally soft free-kicks. Nunez, Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah all turned to the Reds vice-captain with their arms outstretched in frustration. Mind you, given how that trio underperformed, they should have been among the last berating a misplaced pass.Everton fans were understandably rather pleased with how matters were going at Goodison, and they didn't miss a trick in reminding the away end of the fact.
