Feelings like the ones Erin experienced when dating can be for different reasons: struggling with sensory issues in certain environments, not wanting to go to bars, difficulty coming out as autistic. Erin wants to show autistic queer people that there are other ways to explore their sexuality and connect without making themselves uncomfortable. That's why she wrote the book she wished she had had growing up.
