Daughter jailed for repeatedly slashing at dad, 81, with bread knife

Mr Lee fought ‘for his life’ to survive and only suffered three small cuts on his stomach

A woman who repeatedly tried slash her 81-year-old father with a 10-inch bread knife has been jailed.

Somehow Mr Lee,who is blind in one eye, managed to disarm his daughter, and invited her inside the home for a cup of tea in an effort to calm her down. ‘Since the incident I feel extremely nervous and I feel like I cannot leave my house without the assistance of one of my children. ‘I get panic attacks and I feel depressed when I think about it. It’s very difficult to put it out of my mind, no tablets or medication can help or calm me down.
