Daughter pays tribute to 'amazing mum' killed in house fire as girl hurt
THE heartbroken daughter of a woman killed in a house fire has paid tribute to her “amazing” mum.
A 49-year-old man was also rescued from the blaze, the cause of which is being investigated by police. He was discharged after being checked over in hospital. It is believed her partner, named as Shaun, desperately tried to reach her but was unable to save her.Neighbours rushed to help when the blaze broke outShe said: “She was a very Scottish lady and everyone around her knows her as Scottish El and we would always say hello.Passerby Conna Hincks, 21, told of how he raced up a ladder to save Michelle.he had been on the way to meet a friend when he saw smoke rising from the house and a girl lying on the floor covered in burns.
"There were around 50 people there and they were all taking pictures and videos, I thought if that was my family I'd expect at least one person to try and help.""There was another bang and all the flames were coming out. I singed my facial hair. I had to come down the ladder because I couldn't breathe."
