The cooling stations will be available across central PA, with some locations open every weekday.

Earlier today, Dauphin County Commissioners announced opening multiple cooling stations at all eight active senior centers, Dauphin County libraries, churches, and businesses.Hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday The Dauphin County Center for Aging also has a small number of AC units to lend to senior citizens. The agency is working to obtain more for individuals who meet the eligibility requirements, which include being at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Line. Fans and AC units are also being provided through the Utility Assistance Program .
