David Beckham is among the latest to send messages of support to Sir Chris Hoy after he revealed his cancer is terminal. There's been an outpouring of support for the multiple Olympic champion after he said he had between two and four years left to live. Beckham added his voice to the messages, posting late last night: 'Stay strong mate keep smiling.
The six-time Olympic champion said the disease was now incurable and had spread to his bones, with tumours in his shoulder, pelvis, hip, spine and rib. 'As unnatural as it feels, this is nature. You know, we were all born and we all die, and this is just part of the process,' he told the newspaper. 'You remind yourself, aren't I lucky that there is medicine I can take that will fend this off for as long as possible.
