Needing to pay Harvey Gaskell back after stealing his money, Corrie's David Platt realises he needs to execute a very desperate plan.
Desperate times David Platt is a man desperate to protect his family in Coronation Street . Last year, David stole a massive amount of cash from Harvey Gaskell – the drug dealer in prison for murdering Sam’s mum. He did it so he could stop someone else from buying the Platt house, and seemingly thought he was safe from Harvey because he’s behind bars. Big mistake.
Meanwhile, in the café, David pops by and realises Shona hasn’t shown up for work. In a panic, he races to the station and tells Kit Green that first David the dog got run over, and now Shona is missing – Harvey must be behind it. In the week, David starts to realise that the only way he can raise the cash to pay Harvey back is to get rid of the house. He then meets up with Andy, a man he met in prison, and says he desperately needs a favour.
