Stoke City and Leeds United head into their upcoming clash on Wednesday night on the back of important wins and Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has given his verdict
Leeds United have been backed to earn a fifth win in their last six league matches when they travel to face Stoke City. Sky Sports pundit David Prutton believes the 'resilience' shown by Daniel Farke's side in their comeback success at Carrow Road means they should be in for an easier evening at the Bet365 Stadium.
Stoke head into Wednesday night's contest on the back of a positive result themselves, with Alex Neil picking up the victory against his former side Sunderland. Goals from Ryan Mmaee and Luke McNally either side of a strike from Jack Clarke were enough to seal a 2-1 win. Prutton recognised it was a significant result for Stoke, who now sit 20th in the table and five points clear of the relegation zone. However, the former Leeds midfielder is confident the visitors will have too much for Neil's side.
