More recently David’s storylines have often revolved around his money problems as he struggled to keep the shop that bears his name in business through some difficult times. Financial troubles also led to the disintegration of his relationship with Victoria .recently and had decided to see what else was out there for him, leading to a decision to leave the show he’s been a part of for almost two decades.
