David Walliams: 'It was really emotional to see Ant and Dec reunite on BGT'
DAVID Walliams has revealed it was “really emotional” to see Ant and Dec reunite for Britain’s Got Talent.in March last year, and his presenting partner Dec Donnelly hosted the live Britain's Got Talent shows alone.But the duo are back together in the 13th series of the ITV talent show, which starts on April 6.
Speaking about Ant’s return, comedian David said: "It was lovely to see when they stepped back on the stage in London, how excited people were to see them together.Alesha Dixon added: "It's been like getting the family back together, it just feels normal.Simon admits the UK's talent pool is starting to dry upMeanwhile BGT head honcho Simon Cowell has admitted the country’s talent pool is drying up – making it “really difficult” to find acts for the ITV talent series.
He made the comments as the programme unveiled its returning line-up today with judge Amanda Holden, 48, vowing to continue to display her assets despite fears she would cover up by hiring new stylist Karl Willett.
Last year’s show came under fire after bosses jetted in acts from South Korea and Malaysia to impress audiences. Speaking in this week’s issue of Best magazine, Simon also revealed he refused to give son Eric, five, the Golden Buzzer when he auditioned for the show with the daughter of his former flame Terri Seymour, 47.All the judges and presenters looking very glamorous"In fact, he loves BGT so much, he and Coco [Terri Seymour’s daughter] auditioned for the show with this terrible act, and then he demanded the Golden Buzzer, which he didn’t get.
