Nevertheless, I am sorry.’ Lawyers for the TV personality and Thames TV, the company that produces the talent show, stated that Walliams was having a private conversation when the comments were made, rather than speaking with the expectation that his words would be aired.Nonetheless, a Thames TV spokesperson acknowledged that the language he used was ‘inappropriate’ and Walliams has been reminded of the show’s ‘expectations as to future professional conduct’.
