Davina McCall has provided fans with a significant health update following her operation to remove a benign brain tumour. The 57 year old TV presenter, known for hosting Big Brother , underwent a six-hour procedure earlier this month to excise a 14mm growth, which was discovered during a routine scan while she was speaking at a menopause event.
She confessed to being 'very confused' for some time post-operation. In her message to her dedicated fan base on Instagram, Davina said: "Hi, I thought I'd do a little catch-up post, and I'm gonna out my surgeon. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Davina expressed her gratitude towards Gaby and stepmothers in general, labelling her as "an amazing rock" and affectionately referring to her as "a big dose of vitamin G."
She began tearing up as she continued her message. "I feel unbelievably grateful in my life right now, so thanks for everything. I'm on the mend, I'm resting, I'm sleeping loads and I feel really good. I just feel very lucky."
