Actress Dawn French entertains fans with a video of her struggling with Italian and Spanish. She also reveals her exciting new role in the BBC sitcom 'Can You Keep A Secret?'.
actress Dawn French shared a humorous video on Instagram showcasing her attempts at speaking Italian and Spanish , with varying degrees of success. French, known for her roles in 'The Vicar of Dibley' and 'Murder Most Horrid,' is enjoying some sun and relaxation away from the chilly British weather. In a new BBC sitcom titled ' Can You Keep A Secret ?,' French stars alongside Mark Heap.
She portrays Debbie Fenton, a widow who seizes an opportunity when her husband William (Heap) is mistakenly believed dead. The couple decides to conceal William in the attic until the life insurance payout allows them to live comfortably. However, their plan is complicated by their son's struggle to cope with the secret. French, known for her candid remarks, jokingly described her new role as one where she can 'mostly keep her top on.' She also addressed speculation about her weight loss, urging people to refrain from judging her physical appearance. In 2014, French made headlines after losing significant weight following a health crisis, which led to a hysterectomy after a cancer scare. Doctors advised her to shed pounds to expedite her recovery. When questioned by The Times about the weight loss, French stated, 'I have never rejected the bigger woman I have been. Lots of people do it and say, 'Oh, you look so much better - now you look well.' And I think, 'F*** off! Don't judge that other person who I loved.
