One of the best aspects of Dead By Daylight is undoubtedly its collaborations with famous horror IPs.
In the past we’ve had Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and more recently BeHaviour has been thinking outside of the box with Dungeons and Dragons and CastleVania. Fans have a massive wishlist of dream collaborations, and the DBD director has now said the “door is wide open” for a Friday the 13th Chapter with Jason as a killer.
While it’s not officially happening, the Dead By Daylight game director’s comments are at least a positive sign it could materialize in the future. Asked about the prospect of Jason joining DBD as a killer, Mathieu Cote said, “The day he’s ready to come to Dead By Daylight the door is wide open”. The director also acknowledged it’s “more likely” to happen now than in the past, and he made it clear that he would want Jason to be a killer rather than just a skin for The Trapper.
