The national government (NG) is allocating about P80.6 billion next year for the development of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), according to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM). The national government is allocating about P80.6 billion next year for the development of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao , according to the Department of Budget and Management .
“It is our hope that through this allocated budget, we will be able to continue to build on what we have accomplished,” she emphasized. The DBM said a P5.3 billion funding is earmarked for BARMM’s PAMANA program that seeks to develop infrastructure in various conflict-affected and conflict-vulnerable areas in the region.
Furthermore, P176 million is allocated for the establishment of secure evacuation centers, and P35 million for the construction of fishports, according to the agency.
