Personnel of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) are now closely monitoring the coastal road for beachgoers following the drowning incidents in some resorts in Davao City last week. DCPO spokesperson Capt. Hazel Tuazon said on Monday that it is the directive of city director Colonel Alberto Lupaz

“Apil ang coastal road nga gi roving sa DCPO kay dili ta buot nga naay mahitabo dinha sa coastal road nga naay malumos,” Tuazon said over Davao City Disaster Radio on Monday. Tuazon said following the drowning incidents, Lupaz has ordered all station commanders to monitor all beach resorts in their Area of Responsibility .
