Kevin De Bruyne is Jeremy Doku's captain for Belgium, and now the pair are teammates at Manchester City.
Kevin De Bruyne reached out to new Manchester City signing Jeremy Doku when he first heard that the Blues were interested in his international teammate.
Now Doku is City's third summer signing, making the switch for £55.5m, and will link up with De Bruyne and his new teammates. The 21-year-old spoke of De Bruyne's role in the signing, and put on record his appreciation for the kind gesture.
