Two Deacon Blue stars have thanked Scots for their charitable generosity this year.
Ricky Ross and Lorraine McIntosh, long-time supporters of the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund , thanked Scots after one million pounds was raised in aid of the charity’s life-changing work in some of the world’s poorest places.Back in February, the couple took to the streets of Glasgow to launch the charity’s annual Wee Box, Big Change appeal which saw Scots up and down the country give up their favourite treats and put the money they saved into a Sciaf Wee Box.
"In these incredibly hard times, people have once again dug deep and responded to people in dire need."
