The deadline for applications is July 26th to ensure your application is processed in time for the new school year.

Northern Ireland families who need to make a fresh application for the Free School Meal and Uniform Grant for the new school year this September are being urged to apply now.

Parents must apply for Free School Meals before 26th July 2024 to ensure eligibility for the new school term, according to the EA.READ MORE: NI mum pushing for Post-19 SEN legislation takes campaign on the road Special Diet Children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs who require a medically prescribed special diet may be eligible for Free School Meals if their parent/carer is not eligible to apply for support under one of the qualifying benefits listed below:Important: please only complete one application - either the standard EA Connect application if you qualify under one of the benefits listed above, or the Special Diet application if you do not.
