Authorities were investigating a deadly shooting and fiery car crash in Bell early Wednesday morning.
The incident was reported just before 2 a.m. near the intersection of Florence and Vinevale avenues, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Officers responded to the area for a reported traffic collision. When they arrived, they encountered a car fully engulfed in flames. The unidentified driver was pulled from the car but died at the scene. Authorities then noticed gunshot holes in the vehicle and what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the victim.
Sheriff's deputies were assisting the Bell Police Department with the investigation into what they called a shooting death. AIR7 HD was over the scene where there was a mangled car that appeared to be charred and debris from the crash.
