Summary The "Only One Blade" joke gets addressed by Deadpool & Wolverine filmmaker Shawn Levy following Wesley Snipes' Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. In an interview with Variety, Levy was asked where the "There’s only been one Blade. There will only ever be one Blade,” dialogue came from as Snipes' Blade made the remark leading up to their big showdown against Cassandra Nova and her army.
That was a scripted line, and Wesley thought it was hysterical. We tried a bunch of reactions from Deadpool but ultimately went with that eyebrows-raised-Deadpool-fourth-wall-breaking look.
