Husband to the late Jean Butterworth, he leaves behind his children Helen Greenlees and Philip Butterworth.
A service will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at Hyndburn Crematorium at 11am, conducted by Charlotte Green. Christine Follett passed away on May 28, at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 81 years. Loving wife of Mervyn, selfless mum of Graham and Michelle, devoted grandma of Scott, Eli, Aurie and Ben, great grandma of Noah. A sadly missed sister and friend to many.
Funeral service and committal will be held in Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA on Wednesday, June 17 at 2.20pm. Graeme Glen, of Petre Crescent, Rishton, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, May 29, aged 66 years. For most of his life Graeme worked as a delivery driver and after having semi-retired worked part-time for Penny’s Meats at Clayton-Le-Moors.
In his spare time Graeme enjoyed his holidays abroad to Lanzarote with his family, he also loved listening to music, especially Elvis, and in his younger years also enjoyed a game of snooker at his local club. Graeme sadly leaves behind his dearly loved wife Elaine, his much-loved daughters Deborah, Abbey and Natasha, his treasured grandson Hayden and his dear sisters Jayne and Cath and brother Dave.
Graeme will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and his friends. BB5 3DR. Tel: 01254 390542. James Arthur Street, of St Anne’s Close, Church, Oswaldtwistle, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 2, aged 84 years.
During his life James worked for a few different companies over the years including Lang Bridges in Accrington, English Electric in Clayton-le-Moors, Howard & Bullough’s in Accrington, SS Stots in Haslingden and Hollands Pies in Baxenden. He also worked for various security and print distribution employers. He was also a keen swimmer and water polo player and a member of the St John’s Ambulance, The Royal British Legion and the Railway Club in Blackburn.
A dearly loved husband of the late Dympna, a much-loved dad of Kieran, Siobhan and Kimberley, a treasured grandad of Gary, a loving great grandad of Tyler, Chester, Bodie James and Myla Bloom and a dear brother of William and the late Laurence. A private celebration of life service was held on Tuesday, June 9 followed by interment in the family grave at Haslingden Cemetery.

Tel: 01254 390542. Tony, aged 75 years, passed away peacefully in East Lancashire Hospice and with Rachel and Lee by his side on June 3.
Devoted husband of the late Linda, adored dad of Rachel and son-in-law Lee, grandad of Cole, Bella and Georgia, a sadly missed brother, uncle and friend to many. Funeral service and committal will take place on Monday, June 15 in Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA at 1.40pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in Tony’s memory are being received for East Lancashire Hospice.
Beloved son of Terry and Rosalind, brother of Debra, Vernon and Matthew, father of Christopher and Shelley. As well as being a grandfather, Mark was also a much loved nephew.
