The Scottish Court Service confirmed the FAI will take place on January 29.
A Fatal Accident Inquiry is being held into the death of a "much loved" Scots dad who died in a horror crash between a van and a lorry.
It will be held within Sheriff Court House in Castlegate, Jedburgh, Scottish Borders. The purpose of a Fatal Accident Inquiry includes determining the cause of death; the circumstances in which the deaths occurred, and to establish what, if any, reasonable precautions could have been taken, and could be implemented in the future, to minimise the risk of future deaths in similar circumstances.
