With the unveiling of their new uniforms, the Houston Texans took their advertising to new heights, placing one of their new football jerseys on the massive statue of Sam Houston in Huntsville.

A representative with the Huntsville Statue Visitors Center and Tourism Department said the team contacted and received approval from the city prior to the promotion. David Adickes, the renowned sculptor who created the statue, also provided approval for the jersey.Michael is a Kingwood native who loves shooting hoops, visiting local breweries and overreacting to Houston sports.
