At the Stührling website the watch has a 4.5 out of 5 average from almost 100 customer reviews. “I have been thinking about this watch for a while. I loved the look. But what about quality ? When I received it I was really impressed,” said another five-star review. "It has a really expensive look and feel. Love it.”
Some complaints have been levelled at the case's chrome plating. “My issue with the Brigadier is that the case is chrome-plated, not stainless steel,” said a three-star review. “The chrome is coming off around the back of the case.” Another said: "I love this watch. My issue is it is a chrome plated body, and not very well done. The chrome plating is coming off around the case back. It's sad because this is the watch that got me involved and excited about the watch world.
