Presenter Declan Donnelly has been happily married to Ali Astall since 2015, but he's had his fair share of ups and downs in the romance department – here's everything we know...
He first popped up on our TV screens in the 1980s as part of the Byker Grove gang. Dec, along with his best mate Ant McPartlin, has since become a household name on British telly, presenting hit shows like Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain's Got Talent.
But Dec's love life has also seen him linked with some famous faces. Although he's now blissfully married to Ali Astall, he was once rumoured to be dating an I'm A Celeb campmate.First love His first serious relationship was with actress Clare Buckfield, known for her roles in 2.4 Children and CBBC's Grange Hill. They got on well initially, but decided to call it quits in 2003. Dec said that their busy schedules made it tough for them to keep their relationship going. He didn't rule out getting back together - although this never happened. Aa number of other people were later linked to the cheeky chap from Newcastle. These included personalities including Sarah Cawood and Diana Stewart; however, all these flings would eventually fizzle out. Close relationships and 'painful' breakups After it was revealed that he was single again, he was linked to several women, including Sky Sports presenter Georgie Thompson. The two hit it off and started dating in January 2009. Dec and Georgie seemed very much in love during their relationship. They were together for two years before they suddenly announced on Twitter that they had split up. Two months later, in June 2011, Georgie spoke about the break-up, saying: "It's been painful". She said that Dec's fear of commitment was the reason for their split. "It's been tough, it's really tough," she added. "It's hard to go through a painful break up when you're in the public eye. It hurts but we have to be grown-up about it." Since then, they have made up and remained friends. Georgie said that even though the break up was unexpected, she would never say anything bad about Dec. I'm A Celeb romance rumours I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! presenter Dec was seen getting cosy with former campmate and Pussycat Doll singer Ashley Roberts. Before they were linked romantically, Ashley admitted she liked Dec and said: "I would like to get to know Dec better. It would be nice to go for a drink and a chat." Even though Ashley and Dec got close after she was in the jungle show in 2012, they didn't stay together. But they are still friends, and Ashley even went to Dec's wedding when he married Ali in 2015. Happily ever after Ali and Dec had been working together professionally, with Ali being Dec's manager. They worked together for 10 years, so their relationship was a surprise, but it led to true love. Dec once said that he always felt something special for Ali before they started going out. He was a bit worried about dating her because they worked together. But when they were both not seeing anyone, they would sometimes go out for dinner on Valentine's Day. Ant was the best man at Dec's big wedding day. A whole host of famous people including Holly Willoughby and Tess Daly came to celebrate with them. Now, Dec and Ali have two lovely kids and they're still happy together. Dec said about Ali: "I felt a love that I didn't realise it was possible to feel."
