Decision made over Ben Chilwell's Chelsea future amid Man City transfer links CFC
After arriving from Leicester City for £50million in August 2020, the Foxes academy graduate went on to win the Champions League with the Blues in his first year.
Chilwell quickly became a key member of Chelsea’s side but then suffered an injury to his knee which lead to him needing surgery in 2021.
Since recovering in early February, Chilwell has featured in every Chelsea game since, taking his goal tally for the campaign up to two – one of which he scored against former side Leicester – and his number of assists up to four. Frank Lampard’s side will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Premier League strugglers Wolves as they face a tricky test against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.
