The Geordie presenter is said to have got the hots for Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts during her time on I'm A Celeb and is now to set to reunite with her on tonight's grand finale of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
But before he settled down with his wife and manager, Ali Astall, the 48-year-old is said to have had a major crush on a former I'm A Celebrity campmate after a very sauce exchange during a Bushtucker Trial.
Declan will be reunited with Ashley on the final show after the dad-of-two became hot and bothered by Ashley's candid sex confessions. Soon after, Ashley coyly admitted they were in contact: "We're trying to keep it out of the public eye. We're just getting to know each other. We're having fun, but I'm single."
In fact, she was one of the first to congratulate the I'm A Celeb host when he proposed to Ali in November 2014 and she was even invited to the couple's Newcastle wedding in August 2015.
