Declan Rice has taken to social media to show his support for England teammate Jack Grealish following his celebrations in their 2-0 win over the Republic of Ireland.
Interim manager Lee Carsley, who has 40 caps for the Republic of Ireland, took charge of the first game in the post-Gareth Southgate era. Grealish, however, didn’t hold back, running towards the traveling England fans and punching the air after his 26th-minute goal.Carlsey brought the Man City playmaker back into the fold after missing out on a place in Southgate’s squad for Euro 2024.Playing in the number ten role, Grealish once again looked like the player that cost the champions £100 million back in 2021.
