The park's community group urged dog owners to keep their pets under control.
Pollok Country Park Friends Group told their followers that one of Pollok Park's roe deer was struck by a car outside of the park on the nearby Haggs Road.
They claimed that this incident came after reports of dogs chasing deer in the area and they warned owners to keep their pets under control."This follows several reports earlier of dogs chasing deer in the area. "Our roe deer are an important part of the incredible wildlife we have within Pollok Country Park, and we need your help to protect and conserve them.said they had not received a report of the incident.
