Deion Sanders transformed the Colorado Buffaloes football team from a 1-11 record to a 9-4 record in just two years. Sanders has long been linked to NFL head coach ing positions, but he has stated he would only leave college coaching to coach both of his sons, Shedeur and Shilo, in the NFL . Sanders believes this season's bowl game was likely his last opportunity to coach both sons in college, but left the door open for a future opportunity.
Shedeur had a standout season with 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdowns, potentially earning him a high NFL draft pick. Shilo, a safety/cornerback, contributed 45 tackles and two passes defended but is not projected as a high draft pick. Analyst Shannon Sharpe believes Shilo's uncertain draft status makes it highly unlikely for both brothers to play on the same NFL team, let alone one with an open head coaching position. While the Tennessee Titans have a high draft pick, it's unclear if Shilo would be selected.
