Disruption was caused to EMR trains on the Liverpool/Nottingham/Norwich route
East Midlands Railway services have been disrupted after a person was hit by a train. The incident happened between Liverpool Lime Street and Warrington Central on Monday morning, September 12.
. But trains are now running back to a normal frequency between Liverpool Lime Street and Warrington Central. In a statement, EMR said: "Now that the line has reopened, our priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. We expect our advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 12pm."Before the line between Liverpool Lime Street and Warrington reopened, EMR said services were likely to be cancelled until further notice between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly.
