Leeds is one of 7 cities on the list!
Twenty UK cities expressed interest in hosting the Eurovision Song Contest next year after it was decided that Ukraine won't be able to stage it due to the ongoing war. Of the twenty cities, seven have now been shortlisted - and two are in Yorkshire.

And I hope that Leeds, and the whole of West Yorkshire, will be given the honour of hosting Eurovision in their name."
The bidding process began last month, with the BBC, which will be broadcasting the event, and EBU set to jointly make the final decision on which city will host. Shortlisted cities have been selected "based on their ability to meet the requirements and their responses around capability and experience".
