King Charles has thrown his support behind the Australia's Legacy foundation, joining the London leg of its torch relay in celebration of the charity's 100th anniversary.
The Monarch watched on as torchbearers lit the flame outside Buckingham Palace on Friday, marking the start of the London leg of the six-month relay.

The pair reportedly shared a light-hearted moment, with the King jokingly swinging one of the unlit torches like a cricket or baseball bat. "I would also like to take this opportunity to thank, and pay tribute to, the staff, partners, supporters and particularly the 'Legatees' who work so hard to support Australian veterans and their families.
