Beto O’Rourke confirms he’s running for president in 2020 after declaring ‘I’m born to be in it’
DEMOCRATIC rising star Beto O'Rourke has announced that he’s running for president in 2020.
"I'm really proud of what El Paso did and what El Paso represents,” he confirmed to the news outlet in a text.O'Rourke plans to formally announce his campaign for the presidential nomination today.'I THINK I'D BE GOOD AT IT'“Man, I’m just born to be in it, and want to do everything I humanly can for this country at this moment,” O’Rourke said.
Early opinion polls on the 2020 race have consistently ranked O'Rourke in the top tier of more than a dozen declared or possible Democratic contenders.
