DEMOLITION of a fire-stricken community centre in Drumchapel is now underway.
We previously reported that the former Stonedyke Neighbourhood Centre was significantly damaged after a blaze broke out at the Belsyde Avenue building on September 2.Images sent to our sister title the Clydebank Post show construction vehicles at the site.A Police
spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a fire at a building on Belsyde Avenue in Glasgow around 5.30pm on Saturday, September 2."Anyone with any further information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 2972 of September 2, 2023.”
