Sky News host Peta Credlin says demonising gas is “sheer stupidity” as it is needed in the mix to achieve net-zero, but climate activists continue to push for expensive reforms.
“Gas fills the void when the wind doesn’t blow and the sun doesn’t shine,” Ms Credlin said. “Without gas, quite literally, we’re back in the dark ages.
” She added there is an opportunity for a Dutton-led Coalition to turn Labor into a “one-term Albanese government” if climate policy is turned into an economic issue rather than a moral one.
