Denise Van Outen has expressed her deep regret as she announced the cancellation of her cabaret performance due to safety issues. The 50 year old star was scheduled to entertain at her own show at London 's Eight Embankment, where attendees could also indulge in a two-course meal. However, Denise had to deliver the disappointing news just hours before her appearance that the event had to be called off.
She explained: 'Due to unforeseen circumstances we have been advised to cancel this evenings show due to health and safety @eightembankment (gas leak) We are truly sorry and gutted to let down our audience. We will be fully refunding your pre payments. Please allow 1-2 weeks for refunds.' Apologising further, Denise added: 'So sorry! We tried today to find a back up venue but I hope you can appreciate it's been very difficult to do so during the busiest week for events in London. We will be back in the new year. Wishing you all a merry Christmas.' The event, which cost £38.75 per ticket, was supposed to kick off at 7pm followed by an afterparty. In a recent candid chat with the Mirror, Denise reflected on her summer, which she described as her most hedonistic since the 90s, filled with global travel for both work and leisure. She shared: 'This summer has probably been the most sort of hedonistic summer I've had since the 90s. I've had a lot of fun a lot of going out lot of drinking rosé wine in the summer and enjoying myself. But I'm good at knowing when to stop.', reports the Mirror.
