Denise Welch defends Meghan Markle after claim she 'bottled' attending coronation
Denise Welch has said she can fully appreciate why Meghan Markle has decided against attending King Charles III's coronation in London next month.
"Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May," it read. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet." He tweeted: "So Meghan bottles it, leaving Prince Harry to attend the Coronation alone in order to avoid boos from angry Brits in the crowd. But how sad to deny the king the chance to see his two grandchildren who will remain in California."
"Meghan is not bottling it.... what mother would leave their firstborn to have his birthday alone???" questioned another, referring to the fact Prince Archie's fourth birthday is the same day as Charles' Coronation.
