Loose Women star Denise Welch has taken to social media to share her fury at the UK's train service after both she and her husband were left stranded at stations
Denise Welch launched a furious rant at the state of the UK's trains. In a social media post, she revealed that her husband had recently been left stranded at Leicester station as he tried to travel from London to Wilmslow.
"Then he gets to Leicester and they say 'sorry mate, there's no train from here because there's no staff'. Where are the staff? Why is there now no staff?" Continuing her complaint, Denise shared her own recent experience of getting the train. She said: "So yesterday, unwell I tried to get a train from Stockport and it had three carriages. It was like those scenes in Japan where they're pushing people onto the train. I couldn't get on, not with how I was feeling!"
To which they replied: "Are you referring to the time we offered you a bottle of champagne?” Responding to this this, Denise said that it was half a bottle of Prosecco and that she doesn't drink, having previously battled alcohol addiction.
