Danish officials said that all 2.4 million doses of the jab would be withdrawn until further notice, in a move that is expected to delay the conclusion of its vaccine programme by several weeks. ‘Based on an overall consideration, we have therefore chosen to continue the vaccination programme for all target groups without this vaccine’ he said.
Many countries in Europe and elsewhere have resumed rolling out the jab, with some including the UK restricting its use to certain age groups.
